Robert Half Australia is seeking an organised Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper for a part-time, fully remote role. The position starts with 2 days per week and offers flexible hours, working within a supportive Finance team.

You will assist with day-to-day activities including accounts payable, basic record-keeping and reconciliations, with potential to expand responsibilities as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Experienced in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work independently in a remote setup.
• Familiarity with MYOB or similar systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Accounts Payable – Process supplier invoices, coding, entering and payment approval.
• Ledger Integrity – Reconcile bank, credit card and general ledgers.
• Month-End Support – Post journals, accruals and balancing ledgers.
• Accounts Receivable – Invoicing and debtor follow-up as required.
• Data & Records – Maintain accurate and confidential finance records.
• Query Resolution – Resolve discrepancies with staff, managers, customers and suppliers.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve finance systems and workflows.
