Job summary

Kerin Health is seeking an experienced Telehealth Speech Pathologist to join our rural Australia team. Work from home delivering high-quality therapy to paediatric clients via Telehealth, supported by an Allied Health Assistant on the ground.

You’ll enjoy flexible hours, a collaborative multidisciplinary team, paid travel for occasional site visits to Parkes, NSW, and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current registration and licensure as a Speech Pathologist in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Speech Pathology theories and practices.
• Familiarity with Telehealth platforms and technology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage children and families remotely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational skills, including time management and documentation.
• Experience working with paediatric populations, preferably in rural/remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Telehealth Service Delivery: deliver high-quality speech therapy services via Telehealth with support from an Allied Health Assistant on the ground.
• Conduct Initial Assessments: assess clients referred via Telehealth using a range of tools.
• Treatment Planning and Intervention: develop individualised plans based on assessments.
• Collaborative Multidisciplinary Teamwork: coordinate with Key Workers and Allied Health Assistants.
• Progress Monitoring and Documentation: track progress and maintain accurate records.
• Professional Development: stay updated with current best practices and evidence.
• Parent and Caregiver Education: coach families on goals and home activities.
