Job summary

Holstep Health is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to support kindergarten services in Shepparton and surrounding regions, combining remote work with travel to local kindergartens.

The role emphasizes coaching educators and families, enhancing language development, communication, and everyday participation, and designing creative resources and workshop content for educator and family capacity building.

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in Speech Pathology.
• Experience in paediatric allied health settings; kindergarten experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively to develop evidence-based supports.
• Open to capability-building and coaching roles with educators and families.
• Driver's licence and access to a vehicle for travel to kindergarten services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with educators and families delivering education, coaching and consultation.
• Support language development, communication and participation.
• Design and deliver resources and workshop content for educators and families.
• Work within a collaborative allied health team (OT, Psych, Speech Pathology).
• Deliver a mix of onsite and online supports.
• Engage with kindergarten educators to identify and support children’s skill development.
• Provide secondary coaching across formats (in-person, online, phone, email).
• Manage a caseload and coordinate services with the team.
