Calculated Matters is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our team for up to 20 hours per week, remotely from anywhere in Australia. You’ll manage a portfolio of music and creative clients, collaborating with our Senior Accountant to keep the books accurate and compliant.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in bookkeeping or accounting with Australian experience.
• Music/creative industry accounting experience.
• Proficient in Xero and Hubdoc.
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or higher; BAS Agent registration desirable.
• Excellent communication and independent decision-making.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of music and creative clients.
• Prepare tour reports and settlements, tracking income and expenses across shows.
• Calculate management and agency commissions accurately.
• Account for varied income streams such as fees, royalties, merch, streaming and sync.
• Prepare BAS/IAS and support tax compliance with the senior team.
• Build strong client relationships and be a reliable point of contact.
• Review and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Work autonomously and know when to involve the Senior Accountant.
