Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) SA/NT invites applications for a Mental Health Clinician/Nurse or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Practitioner based in Port Augusta. The role services remote SA Aboriginal and pastoral/mining communities using telehealth, telephone and in-person visits.

You will deliver evidence-based mental health interventions, be registered with AHPRA, and work within a supportive team dedicated to culturally safe care.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA or eligible for registration
• Experience delivering mental health interventions aligned with national standards
• Knowledge of remote First Nations healing practices
• Experience coordinating with government and non-government agencies
• Experience in mental health promotion activities

Responsabilités

• Deliver moderate intensity mental health services to clients using telephone, telehealth or face-to-face methods
• Collaborate with remote communities and health teams to improve access to services
• Support culturally safe practices and engagement with First Nations communities
