Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT seeks a Mental Health Clinician, Mental Health Nurse or Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Practitioner to deliver moderate intensity mental health services across remote SA/NT communities. The role uses a mix of telehealth, telephone and in-person consults to reach clients who lack access to care.

Applicants should be registered with AHPRA and experienced with National Standards for Mental Health Services, and with collaborative work across governmental

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA.
• Experienced delivering mental health interventions in line with National Standards for Mental Health Services.
• Aware of treatment approaches for remote First Nations communities and associated healing practices.
• Experienced integrating government and non-government agencies in planning and delivering services.
• Experienced implementing mental health and social and emotional wellbeing health promotion activities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver moderate intensity mental health services to clients in remote communities using telephone, telehealth and face-to-face consultations.
• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions.
• Identify activities to increase awareness of mental health and emotional wellbeing services in remote communities.
