Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Supplier Quality professional to drive quality for assigned suppliers, implement quality plans, and lead supplier audits. You will own supplier results, develop improvement plans, and use scorecards to monitor performance in accordance with industry standards.

Travel up to 50% in early months, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading supplier quality development, with experience in airfoils or structural castings preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience

Responsibilities

• Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting assigned suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements; explain information and develop skills to bring team members to consensus.
• Uses judgment and proposes different solutions outside of set parameters to address day-to-day problems.
• Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis; uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
