Job summary

Waterproofing Assurance Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a Field Technician (office based in Mt Waverley or remote) to conduct on-site inspections during construction, verify compliance with Australian waterproofing standards, NCC Vol 1 & 2 and project specifications.

You will prepare accurate inspection reports, provide expert technical advice to clients, maintain strong relationships, and support business development while staying current with NCC updates and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the waterproofing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Australian waterproofing standards and NCC Vol 1 & 2.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site waterproofing inspections during construction.
• Prepare detailed compliance inspection reports aligned with Australian Standards and NCC Vol 1 & 2.
• Ensure testing procedures meet all relevant standards and project requirements.
• Provide expert technical advice to clients regarding compliance and rectification.
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery.
• Stay current with waterproofing standards, NCC updates and industry best practices.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete scheduled site visits.
• Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and strengthening client partnerships.
