Job summary

ClickHouse, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer for the AI/ML Engineering team in Australia. You will design and build AI-powered features across backend and frontend, shape API architectures, and integrate with AI services within the ClickHouse Cloud platform.

You will own development, contribute to developer tools, maintain observability, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate across teams to ship production-grade AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design and implement AI-powered features across the full stack, from backend inference services to frontend interfaces.
• API Architecture: Create robust, scalable APIs linking ClickHouse capabilities with AI/ML inference systems and external/internal services.
• Ecosystem Integrations: Integrate with broader AI/ML ecosystems and standards for compatibility with popular frameworks and tools.
• Technical Integration: Deploy models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
• Oncall: Participate in daytime on-call rotation with the team.
• Developer Experience: Build developer tools, SDKs, and documentation to enable users to leverage ClickHouse’s AI/ML capabilities
