Job summary

ClickHouse is expanding its Support Services team and seeks a Senior Consulting Engineer to join our global team. You will provide consultative support to enterprise customers, blending hands-on engineering, development assistance, and high‑tier support.

You’ll work with strategic customers to assist with architecture, migrations, POCs, onboarding, and production launches. This role requires 5+ years in professional services or distributed DBMS and involves on‑call work and up to 35% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Professional Services or related roles
• 5+ years experience with distributed DBMS
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Serve on customer projects focusing on design, architecture, integration, and documentation
• Provide consultative support for implementation, onboarding, and POCs
• Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance
• Handle L1-L3 support cases when not on projects
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Sales on roadmap and plans
• Develop documentation, blogs, and benchmarks
• Assist hiring and mentoring new team members
• Be available for on-call with up to 35% travel
