Job summary

Family Services Australia in Shellharbour Village NSW seeks a Psychologist (Assessment Clinician) to deliver psychological assessments across the lifespan, including intellectual disability, giftedness, learning disorders and neurodevelopmental concerns. You will administer and interpret evidence-based tools, write reports, and provide feedback to clients and families.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
• Endorsement or registrar status as Educational/Developmental or Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience administering standardized psychological assessments across the lifespan.
• Ability to write clear diagnostic reports and provide feedback.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychological assessment across the lifespan.
• Administer and interpret evidence-based assessment tools; write reports and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team within a therapeutic framework.
• Attend consultations with Clinical Lead for skill training and case conceptualisation.
• Maintain high standards of care, quality assurance and risk management.
