Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Construction Manager to lead a remote airfield/terminal project in Perth, WA. You will oversee multi‑discipline teams, review plans for cost and constructability, and drive safety and schedule adherence on a major infrastructure program.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in large-scale projects, strong leadership, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external teams. Full‑time site work in Perth with Bechtel’s global platform.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience managing major infrastructure and/or aviation projects.
• High level interpersonal and communication skills with leadership capability.
• Ability to engage stakeholders while maintaining commercial awareness.
• Delivery partner or client-side PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct reports and interdisciplinary teams to establish construction methods and support activities.
• Oversee the construction process, review plans and specifications for costs and constructability.
• Manage corporate processes and proposal preparation.
• Prepare and present reports and forecasts on construction progress and expenditure.
• Monitor safety, ensure compliance and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
