Job summary

CEVA Logistics seeks an Air Import Coordinator in Banksmeadow NSW to manage end-to-end inbound airfreight shipments, ensure customs compliance and support high service levels. The role covers pre-alert capture, milestone updates, billing, and handling temperature-controlled cargo under GDP guidelines.

Two years in airfreight import operations and proficiency with CargoWise are preferred. The role offers flexible, hybrid work options and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in airfreight import operations
• Strong understanding of customs clearance and freight systems
• Familiarity with Incoterms, ABF, DAFF and airline ground handling procedures

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments: pre-alert, milestones and documentation
• Liaise with airlines, handlers, brokers and cartage providers
• Prepare and lodge customs and biosecurity clearances and respond to inspections
• Manage billing, accruals and cost verification
• Handle healthcare and temperature-controlled shipments under GDP
• Communicate progress with overseas offices and customers
• Identify process improvements and participate in CI initiatives
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and audit standards
