Aptus Personnel partners with a premier national firm to hire a Mid-Senior Forensic Engineer for 100% remote work with Sydney-based operations. You will conduct site inspections, identify causation, and develop forensic reports for residential, commercial, and small-to-medium structures.

The role emphasizes high-quality reporting, mentorship of junior engineers, and proficiency with SpaceGass and Structural Toolkit. Australian Citizenship or PR is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
• Experience as a forensic engineer in Australia is essential.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections across residential, commercial, and small-to-medium structures.
• Identify damage causation and construction defects against codes.
• Prepare forensic reports, scopes of work and repair designs.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers within the national team.
