Luurnpa Catholic School in Balgo Hills is seeking a dynamic Principal to commence 1 January 2027. This remote posting requires a leader with commitment to faith formation, literacy, numeracy, wellbeing and cultural identity, capable of deep community engagement in a First Nations context.

Qualifications

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• Collaborative, future-focused leader aligned with Catholic Education system priorities.
• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Current Working with Children Check (WA WWCC) or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead Luurnpa Catholic School with remote community engagement and strong partnerships with families, Elders, parish and community organisations.
• Promote Catholic identity and values within the school and partner parishes.
• Oversee staff wellbeing, professional growth and retention, and cultivate a positive school culture.
• Manage resources, facilities, finances and staffing to sustain long-term school and community outcomes.
