Job summary

Department for Energy and Mining in Adelaide is seeking a Project Manager ASO8 to lead the transition of electricity supply arrangements under the RAES scheme. You will drive planning, governance and delivery, engaging remote communities, councils, regulators and government stakeholders to shape future energy services.

The role requires coordinating across technical, policy, legal, and commercial areas, with a focus on delivering outcomes for senior executives and Ministers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex projects or programs, preferably in remote or regional settings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Experience working across multiple organisations, government agencies or community groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the RAES transition project from planning through to implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with remote communities and stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, manage risks and track progress.
• Manage project budgets, governance and procurement activities.
• Coordinate technical, policy, legal, commercial and operational activities.
• Deliver strong and culturally appropriate community engagement across remote areas.
