Job summary

Water Corporation in Western Australia invites applications for a permanent Team Leader role in Leederville within the Contaminated Sites team. You’ll guide the identification, assessment and management of contaminated sites and raise awareness of contamination issues across the business.

You will lead stakeholder relationships, drive environmental audits and implement strategic improvements to enhance our environmental services while ensuring compliance with State and Commonwealth requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice, guidance and support regarding operations and compliance with State and Commonwealth project/scheme processes
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders with regards to operations in accordance with relevant environmental obligations
• Support and implement the EMS to ensure compliance and operational standards in accordance with industry best practice
• Direct and organise environmental audits and inspections as set out in the audit/inspection schedule
• Lead and implement strategic improvements to enhance the environmental service offering and support to the business
• Engage and coordinate process and procedural improvements to ensure the Corporation remains in accordance with industry best practice
