Job summary

UGL Pty Limited seeks two Duty Supervisors for a busy remote community store in North-Western Australia. The couple-friendly roles cover day-to-day operations, including customer service, cashier duties, opening/closing, stock control, and merchandising.

Training is provided to develop into Store Manager roles with weekend acting responsibilities. The package includes a full-time salary above the Retail Award, a heavily subsidised furnished house, and 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in remote community/retail stores or roadhouses (preferred).
• Experience working in remote locations (preferred).
• Current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations including customer service, cashier duties, opening/closing, stock rotation and merchandising.
• Manage stock ordering and stock levels; assist in the takeaway kitchen as required.
• Supervise staff and ensure smooth store operations during shifts.
• Maintain store and warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support weekend coverage and act as Store Manager on weekends when required.
