Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking 2 x Duty Supervisors to join a busy store in a remote community in North-Western Australia. The roles report to the Store Managers and involve customer service, cashier duties, opening/closing, stock management, merchandising, stock ordering, staff supervision, and some takeaway kitchen tasks.

Training is hands-on, with opportunities to act as Store Manager on weekends. A fully furnished house suitable for a couple is provided, and the package includes a salary above

Qualifications

• Previous experience in remote community stores, retail stores or roadhouses (preferred).
• Experience working in remote locations (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach, positive attitude, punctuality and a willingness to learn.
• Current forklift licence, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
• Current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
• A commitment to remain in the role for a minimum of 12 months.
• Full Australian working rights for the duration of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day operation of the store including customer service; cashier duties; opening and closing; maintaining stock; rotating stock; store merchandising; stock ordering; staff supervision; assisting in the takeaway kitchen (as required); and cleaning the store and warehouse areas.
