Job summary

Expertech is partnering with a leading digital transformation agency to hire a mid-level Project Manager for their Support team. You’ll manage a mix of eCommerce and CMS projects, balancing priorities and maintaining strong client relationships.

You’ll collaborate with developers, designers and content specialists in a fast-paced environment, with a service mindset and strong communication to ensure projects stay on track. This role offers work-from-home flexibility in Australia.

Qualifications

• Mid-level Project Management experience within a digital, technology or transformation agency.
• Proven experience managing eCommerce and/or CMS projects.
• Strong understanding of digital project delivery, with the ability to manage competing priorities and frequently switch between projects and client needs.
• Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working directly with external clients and building strong, trusted relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines, expectations, scope and competing demands.
• A genuine service mentality — you're proactive, responsive and focused on finding solutions for clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, designers, content teams and other digital specialists.
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to identify opportunities to improve or extend the work being delivered.

Responsibilities

• Manage software, technology and transformation projects across multiple internal, external and offshore delivery teams.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting cadences and delivery disciplines across a complex project portfolio.
• Create visibility of project status, timelines, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes for executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate steering committees, project forums, delivery reviews and stakeholder workshops.
• Work closely with business leaders, product managers, business analysts, architects, engineers and vendors.
• Coordinate activities across geographically dispersed teams operating across multiple time zones.
• Track project milestones and ensure delivery remains aligned to agreed objectives and timelines.
• Identify, manage and elevate risks, issues and scope changes before they impact delivery outcomes.
• Support project planning, prioritisation and delivery readiness activities across the technology function.
• Translate technical delivery activity into clear and commercially focused updates for senior leadership.
• Drive accountability across stakeholders while maintaining strong working relationships and alignment.
• Contribute to the development of scalable project delivery practices supporting long-term organisational growth.
