Placements24 is seeking a specialized Civil Engineer focused on stormwater management and drainage. This remote role supports projects in and around Queenstown, designing systems to manage urban runoff and mitigate flooding. You will model hydraulics, design components, and prepare detailed drawings and reports for infrastructure developments.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Pr. Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr. Eng. designation or equivalent.
• 6+ years in stormwater management and drainage design.
• Proficient with hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Design stormwater systems including culverts, ponds, and swales.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and flood risk modeling.
• Produce drawings, specifications, and drainage reports.
• Ensure environmental and water quality compliance.
• Collaborate with planners and engineers to integrate drainage.
• Provide technical guidance during construction.
