Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer - Drainage in Sydney to deliver drainage and stormwater designs for transport, urban development, and infrastructure projects. Flexible working arrangements include options to work from home or remotely from the Sydney CBD office.

The role focuses on technical delivery of drainage design, with opportunities to contribute to flood resilience and water quality. Senior level consideration may be given for suitable experience.

Qualifikationen

• Civil or Environmental Engineering degree.
• 3–10 years' water resources experience, focusing on drainage design.
• Experience with Australian Rainfall and Runoff preferred.
• Proficiency with drainage/modelling tools: 12d, DRAINS, MUSIC.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Aufgaben

• Design drainage for roads, transport, urban development and infrastructure.
• Develop drainage solutions (pits, pipes, culverts, swales, channels, detention basins).
• Prepare and review drainage models (12d, DRAINS).
• Undertake MUSIC modelling and stormwater-quality measures.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for pipes, culverts and inlets.
• Coordinate with road geometry, utilities and other disciplines.
• Prepare reports, drawings and submission documentation.
• Review outputs and manage design risks.
