Job summary

Alignerr is seeking experienced civil engineers to join an entirely remote, hourly contract role. You will review building models, drawings, and Basis of Design documents to ensure quality and compliance with NCC and Australian Standards.

The position focuses on expert evaluation, identifying issues, and providing actionable feedback, while working up to 20 hours per week from anywhere in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience as civil engineer or building designer with BIM knowledge.
• Familiar with NCC, Australian Standards, and general codes.
• Ability to review Basis of Design and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review 3D building models and IFC/ Revit outputs.
• Evaluate design documentation for compliance with codes.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve quality.
• Suggest criteria to distinguish levels of quality.
