Zusammenfassung

Alignerr is seeking Back End Developers for a fully remote hourly contract in Sydney. You will design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs powering AI products, including data pipelines and model-serving infrastructure, with microservices handling real-world traffic at scale.

You will work on robust backend services, databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing and building backend services and APIs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture to support AI workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams of engineers and researchers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Work independently on task- and project-based assignments.
