Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Embedded Systems Developer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, implement, and test embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++ and RTOS.

You will work with CAN and LIN protocols, collaborate with hardware and system architects, and ensure high-quality, reliable ECU software across diverse projects. This role offers strong growth potential in the automotive sector from anywhere in Australia.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
Exposure to the automotive industry is a plus.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
Experience with RTOS and embedded development tools.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software for automotive ECUs, adhering to quality standards.
Implement and optimize firmware for microcontrollers and processors using C/C++.
Integrate software with hardware for functionality and performance.
Work with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet for inter-ECU communication.
Conduct testing, debugging, and performance analysis of embedded systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects on project requirements.
