Job summary

Sydney Enosi is seeking an Engineer – Associate (Optional Remote) to join the DevOps Team and contribute to the Powertracer Platform. You will participate in six-month rotations across infrastructure, observability, and software engineering domains, with potential progression to software or infrastructure roles based on interests and business needs.

Ideal candidates have a software engineering background, a track record of personal projects, and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering or related field
• Personal projects beyond program requirements
• 1–2 years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Git repositories (GitHub)
• Understanding of SDLC and continuous deployment practices
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS)
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Exposure to Go, React and GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence tools

Responsibilities

• Introduce new React components to Powertracer frontend
• Own the introduction of new API features in microservices
• Integrate API features from microservices via GraphQL for frontend use
• Refine observability capabilities across all services
• Refactor Terraform modules used in deployment of infrastructure and applications
