Qualifications
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting.
- Understanding of Aboriginal health determinants in Central Australia.
- Commitment to incorporating Aboriginal values in practice.
- Willingness and fitness to travel and work in remote locations.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team with respect for diverse backgrounds.
- Hold a current NT manual license and ability to drive a large 4WD.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and plan care with the team.
- Administer treatments, including wound care and medications.
- Promote health initiatives within remote communities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe practices.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and service development.
