Job summary

Are you an experienced Remote Area Nurse or Rural Generalist looking for your next adventure? Medacs Healthcare is seeking passionate nurses for contract opportunities across the breathtaking Kimberley region and remote communities throughout Western Australia.

Working in community-based primary healthcare settings, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while exploring some of Australia’s most remarkable and culturally diverse locations.

We offer flexible 6-12 week locum contracts (with ongoing opportunities), with a variety of start dates available throughout the year.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years’ Registered Nurse experience in Australia, including emergency care and on-call experience
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Immunisation Provider certification

Current or In-Progress Certifications

• Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
• Pharmacotherapeutics
• Postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded)
