Job summary

Placements24 seeks an innovative Project Manager to lead Agricultural Technology initiatives, delivering remotely from Paarl in the Western Cape. You will drive cutting-edge solutions to improve farming practices, crop yields, and sustainability.

You will collaborate with agronomists, engineers, and technology providers to guide project delivery, manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risk, and promote impactful outcomes in the agricultural sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in AgriTech or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage complex technology implementation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of AgriTech projects from concept to deployment.
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources and risks to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, engineering, operations) for smooth progression.
• Oversee implementation and integration of new agricultural technologies and systems.
• Stay updated on AgriTech trends to identify new project opportunities.
