Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Technical Project Manager for a fully remote role serving the Queenstown region and beyond. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale technology initiatives, and ensure delivery aligns with business goals.

This role requires a solid track record in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments, deep cloud and IT infrastructure knowledge, and outstanding leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in technical project management for complex system implementations.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, SDLC, and IT infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver complex technical projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources for large-scale initiatives.
• Direct and motivate cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and system architects.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
• Communicate project status and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure IT best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
