You will support Australian business clients with day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, BAS and IAS preparation, financial reporting, and tax return preparation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience preparing company and individual tax returns.
• Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for multiple Australian clients.
• Payroll processing and ensuring compliance with Australian payroll requirements.
• Preparation of working papers and supporting documentation for financial statements.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software and remote work dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare company and individual income tax returns.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS.
• Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for Australian clients.
• Process payroll and ensure payroll compliance.
• Prepare working papers and financial statements.
• Maintain cloud-based accounting records.
• Assist senior accountants with month-end/year-end
• Communicate professionally to ensure timely client deliverables.
• Manage multiple client files with deadlines.
