Job summary

W3Global in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Project Engineer to lead remediation projects from planning through to completion. You will coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors and clients to ensure clear communication, resource efficiency and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on site oversight, technical review of designs, risk assessments and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Clear written reporting and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience in project management and project planning for complex remediation projects.
• Advanced project engineering expertise in remediation, civil, demolition or hazardous materials environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil, environmental, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to hazardous materials remediation.
• Experience working on-site with contractors and field teams, including site inspections and technical oversight.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills with focus on risk mitigation and quality outcomes.
• Experience in Australian construction or remediation sectors in Sydney or broader NSW is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead remediation projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
• Perform technical design reviews, methodology development, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
