Active Allied Health Australia Pty Ltd – Sunshine VIC is seeking a Remedial Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide massage and soft tissue therapy to elderly clients, people with disability and community clients, including NDIS and Home Care services in the Western and Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

You will assess and treat clients, maintain records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy or Massage Therapy.
• Experience providing remedial massage or soft tissue therapy.
• Experience working with elderly people, people with disability or community clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage client appointments.
• Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

About the Role

As a Remedial Therapist, you will provide massage and soft tissue therapy services to elderly clients, people with disability and other community clients, including NDIS and Home Care clients.

Your role will include providing a range of remedial massage and soft tissue techniques to assist with muscle tension, mobility, relaxation, recovery and overall wellbeing. You will assess clients, consider their individual needs and goals, provide appropriate treatment and rehabilitation advice, and monitor and report on client progress.

You will also maintain appropriate client records, prepare and maintain treatment equipment and areas, and work collaboratively with the broader care and allied health team to support positive client outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a Remedial Therapist who is professional, reliable and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will ideally have:

• A relevant qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy or Massage Therapy
• Experience providing remedial massage or soft tissue therapy
• Experience working with elderly people, people with disability or community clients
• Ability to work independently and manage client appointments
• Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
• A current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Previous experience providing mobile, community-based, NDIS or Home Care services will be highly regarded.
