Job summary

Opal HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Aldinga Beach care community in South Australia. You will deliver person-centred care, conduct clinical assessments, administer medications and support wellness planning.

Relocation assistance is available. We offer sponsored study opportunities up to $15,000, competitive hourly rates with penalties, and a permanent full-time position with 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Complete clinical assessments, monitor changes in residents’ health and elevate concerns as required.
• Administer and manage medications safely and accurately.
• Provide wound care, pain management, dementia support and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning reviews.
• Support, mentor and provide clinical guidance to care workers and enrolled nurses.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals and internal teams.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety and quality of life.

About the Role

$41.59 - $53.36 (DOE) base rate + Penalty rates, Penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, plus 12% superannuation. Permanent Full-Time opportunities.

About You

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.


• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and medication management skills.


• Excellent communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.


• A calm, respectful and compassionate approach to resident care.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.


• Ability to complete pre-employment medical, NDIS, and National Police Check.
