Job summary

St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park (NSW), invites applications for a permanent, full-time Religious Education Teacher. The role covers Religious Education for Years 7–10 and Studies of Religion I and II within the K-12 Diocesan context.

The successful candidate will foster faith and learning, meet accreditation requirements (Level D, NESA) and obtain WWCC clearance prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for a Catholic school setting.
• Understanding of accreditation requirements for Religious Education in NSW.
• Experience or willingness to engage with PB4L in classroom practice.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education (Years 7–10) and Studies of Religion I & II.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on PB4L.
• Plan and implement effective teaching across the nominated KLAs and assess student learning.
• Use diverse assessment strategies and analyse data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
