Job summary

Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong – Narellan NSW seeks a Secondary Teacher for Religious Education. The successful applicant will teach Religious Education up to and including Stage 6 and contribute to a faith-filled learning community.

This permanent full-time role requires dedication to Catholic schooling, collaboration with colleagues and families, and commitment to ongoing professional accreditation (Level D) and WWCC.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate deep commitment to the mission of the Catholic School.
• Plan and implement effective teaching and learning in Religious Education.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Accredited Level D or commit to gain within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education up to Stage 6.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment based on PB4L principles.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers and the College community to support student growth.
