Job summary

St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park, NSW, is inviting applications for a Religious Education Teacher (Years 7–12) within the Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong. The successful candidate will teach Religious Education (Years 7–10) and Studies of Religion I and II, contributing to a faith-filled learning community.

The role emphasises forming students in faith and improving learning outcomes, and requires WWCC, NESA accreditation, and a commitment to the Catholic mission.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate commitment to the mission of the Catholic School.
• Plan for effective teaching and learning in SOR/Sect Religious Education.
• Use diverse assessment strategies and analyse data to inform learning.
• Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers, and the school community.
• Experience teaching in at least one other KLA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education for Years 7–10 and Studies of Religion I & II.
• Create an engaging, faith-informed classroom environment.
