Job summary

St Vincent’s College Ashfield is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to inspire students through engaging, Catholic-centered instruction. You will teach Stage 4–6 Religious Education, with SOR 1/2 advantageous, and uphold a culture of learning and faith.

Candidates should have a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and child safety requirements within a Catholic school community.

Qualifications

• Expertise in teaching Religious Education to Senior High School levels (Stages 4–6).
• Strong classroom management and focus on student well-being.

Responsibilities

About You

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in teaching Stage 4 to Stage 6 Religious Education, with an ability to teach SOR 1 and SOR 2 advantageous
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
