Job summary

St Vincent's College Ashfield in Sydney is seeking a dedicated HSIE/RE Teacher to inspire students within a Catholic learning community. You will teach Stage 6 Legal Studies and History (Modern or Ancient), Stage 4/5 History and Geography, with potential involvement in Stage 4 Religious Education.

The role requires a tertiary Education qualification with NESA accreditation, strong classroom management, and a commitment to inclusive, rigorous learning; WWCC required, and employment is full-time,

Qualifications

• tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• experience teaching Stage 6 Legal Studies and History.

About You

As a HSIE / RE Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in teaching Stage 6 Legal Studies and History (Modern and or Ancient), Stage 4 and 5 History, Geography and possibly Stage 4 Religious Education
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
