Job summary

Resthaven is seeking a Relieving Registered Nurse (Community Services) to support older people to remain living in their own homes. Based at Wayville Head Office, you’ll work across metropolitan and regional community sites with travel and accommodation covered when in regional areas.

The role is offered as a part-time or full-time permanent position, with strong emphasis on welfare, training and professional development, and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with sound clinical and assessment skills.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly age-related health issues.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients, families, staff and other health professionals.
• Current driver's licence.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and show leadership.
• Understanding of duty of care in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in community/home settings.
• Assess and plan care for older people.
• Coordinate with families and other health professionals.
• Travel to regional sites with expenses covered.
