Job summary

Resthaven Incorporated invites applications for a Relieving Clinical Manager in our Community Services. Based at Wayville, you will oversee nursing and allied health teams in a relieving capacity, travel to metropolitan and regional services, and support high-quality clinical care in a not-for-profit aged care environment.

The role is permanent full-time and may require occasional out-of-hours work. A motor vehicle is available as part of salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated clinical nursing leadership.
• Infection Prevention and Control Lead program or willingness to complete.
• Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
• Understanding of aged care funding and quality management processes.

Responsibilities

• Relieving across Community Services asClinical Manager, mentoring and supervising clinical staff.
• Ensure professional standards of contemporary nursing aligned with Resthaven policies and procedures.
• Support nursing and allied health teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centred care.

Join our Community Services team at Resthaven as a Relieving Clinical Manager based at our modern office at Wayville. Your wealth of experience and knowledge as a Clinical Manager will be highly regarded ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided across our Community Services overseeing nursing and allied health teams in a relieving capacity. This role will require travel to our metropolitan and regional services and is a great career opportunity to in your nursing career in community aged care! What you will be doing:

You will be relieving across our Community Services as a Clinical Manager, providing mentoring and supervision to our clinical staff, ensuring professional standards of contemporary nursing are delivered in line with Resthaven’s policies and Procedures and supporting nursing and allied health teams.

You will have:

• Registered Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Demonstrated professional clinical nursing
• Infection Prevention and Control Lead program, or ability to complete the course.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate staff to achieve organisational goals.
• The ability to logically prioritize varying work demands.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
• An understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to caring for aged clients.
• An understanding of aged care funding processes and required documentation
• Understanding of quality management systems and commitment to continuous improvement Ability to develop a cooperative team approach to the delivery of services
• Commitment to professional development
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft and other desktop applications.
• Working knowledge of Current legislation relevant to Aged Care
