Job summary
Resthaven Incorporated is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Relieving Care Coordinator team as a Care Coordinator (relieving) on a permanent full-time basis. You will cover Annual/Personal leave and support site teams across metropolitan and regional residential aged care homes.
A driver's licence and a salary-packaged vehicle are provided. You will work with the Manager Residential Services to deliver high quality clinical care, develop resident-centred care plans, and lead
Qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- At least 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to motivate staff
- Previous leadership experience as a Registered Nurse
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to recognise clinical risk and implement strategies
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of ageing and commitment to caring for older people
- Current Driving Licence and ability to travel across sites
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality clinical care in a residential aged care setting
- Collaborate with residents and families to deliver resident centred care
- Deliver professional nursing standards and care services at allocated homes
- Lead nursing staff and personal care assistants
- Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
