Job summary

Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to lead asset reliability across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand. You will develop preventive and predictive programs, drive downtime reduction, and mentor teams during major overhauls.

Based at Salisbury or Wacol, you will partner with operations, contractors, and suppliers to deploy data-driven maintenance using AI/Industry 4.0 technologies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in manufacturing maintenance and asset management.
• Experience leading plant shutdowns, overhauls, and maintenance projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (desirable).
• Exposure to predictive maintenance, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive asset reliability and minimise manufacturing downtime.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues and support major repairs.
• Manage maintenance schedules, spares, and contractor performance.
• Monitor asset performance and produce technical maintenance reports.
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
• Leverage data, predictive technologies, AI, and machine learning to improve reliability.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and maintenance standards compliance.
