Job summary

Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer/Asset Manager to lead preventative and predictive maintenance across Salisbury (SA) or Wacol (QLD) sites.

You will drive reliability, minimise downtime, troubleshoot complex equipment, and oversee schedules, spares and contractor performance, collaborating with operations and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in manufacturing maintenance and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic equipment in high‑volume environments.
• Experience leading or participating in major plant shutdowns and maintenance projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (desirable).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong reporting, planning and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Exposure to predictive maintenance systems, data analytics, machine learning or Industry 4.0 technologies is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance and factory facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive asset reliability and minimise manufacturing downtime.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues and support major repairs.
• Manage maintenance schedules, critical spares and contractor performance.
• Monitor asset performance and produce technical maintenance reports.
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
• Leverage maintenance data, predictive technologies, AI and ML to improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and maintenance standards.
