Job summary

ACCIONA Energía in Melbourne is seeking a mechanical reliability engineer to enhance wind farm and renewable asset availability through optimized maintenance.

You will provide expert mechanical engineering support to operations, lead reliability programs, and perform root cause analyses across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor in mechanical engineering, experience in reliability, and willingness to travel, including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in reliability engineering or related roles.
• Exposure to electrical, civil, or wind resource considered advantageous.
• Experience with Maximo or CMMS is an asset.
• Knowledge of ACCIONA wind technology and systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical reliability support to wind and renewable assets.
• Lead reliability programs across sites with condition-based maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis on failed equipment.
• Analyse plant performance data to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with global engineering, suppliers and OEMs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies.
• Maintain engineering document library and asset management plans.
• Support asset management development and reviews.
