Job summary
Mars Chocolate Ballarat is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Reliability team, supporting maintenance across 4-shift operations and assisting with breakdowns to keep the chocolate factory running smoothly.
You will utilise SAP PM, record breakdowns, and apply Hazard Escalations for safe, efficient operations. An A-Grade Electrical License and experience in industrial manufacturing are required; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- A-Grade Electrical License.
- Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing maintenance including automation controls & PLC programming.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
- Willingness to work across multiple areas.
- Food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Responds to breakdowns with urgency, coordinating with Shift & Line Managers.
- Complete preventative maintenance and improve SAP PM data quality.
- Execute planned maintenance within scheduled windows without restart delays.
- Support Mars Supply Excellence initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Record breakdowns in SAP and communicate information clearly.
- Address Hazard Escalations and maintain safe work environments.
