Keegan Adams Recruitment is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join a growing Australian non-bank lender’s Loan Origination team in Sydney. You will manage broker relationships, assess lending opportunities, and structure property-backed funding solutions.

Key responsibilities include deal progression with credit teams, timely broker updates, and growing the broker network while maintaining an accurate opportunity pipeline.

Qualifications

Relationship Manager – Commercial Property Lending

Our client is an established and growing Australian non-bank lender specialising in tailored commercial property finance solutions. With a strong reputation for delivering flexible funding options and a practical approach to lending, the business has developed an extensive network of brokers and referral partners.

As the business continues to expand, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Relationship Manager to join its Loan Origination team, managing key broker relationships and supporting the progression of commercial property lending opportunities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Loan Origination, you will manage an established portfolio of broker relationships, acting as a key point of contact for new lending enquiries, deal structuring and transaction progression.

This is a relationship-driven role requiring strong commercial property lending knowledge, the ability to assess opportunities at an early stage and confidence working with brokers to structure suitable property-backed funding solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships across an established portfolio of commercial property finance brokers.
• Work closely with brokers to assess new lending opportunities, discuss funding requirements and explore suitable deal structures.
• Review potential transactions, identifying key credit considerations, property security, loan structures and exit strategies.
• Partner with Credit and Origination teams to progress viable opportunities through the lending process.
• Provide brokers with timely updates, commercial guidance and support throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing broker relationships and generate additional lending activity.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities and contribute market insights to the wider business.

About You

We are seeking a commercially minded property lending professional who enjoys building relationships and working closely with brokers to deliver effective funding solutions.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience in commercial property lending, loan origination, broker relationship management or a similar role within financial services.
• A sound understanding of property-backed lending, loan structures, credit assessment, security positions and exit strategies.
• Confidence discussing and structuring commercial property transactions with brokers and internal credit teams.
• Strong relationship management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience within a non-bank or specialist property lending environment will be highly regarded.
