Job summary

The Sutherland Hospital, part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD), seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Rehabilitation ward to support patients in regaining mobility and independence after stroke, surgery or deconditioning. A multidisciplinary team approach is employed to deliver holistic care.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $41.23–$57.88 with superannuation, up to 38 hours per week, and flexible employment options (Permanent/Temporary, Part-Time/Full-Time).

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive engagement with patients to enhance service delivery.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use health information systems.
• Knowledge of risk management, safety and quality principles.
• Recent extensive post-registration experience in an acute care setting.
