Job summary
Big Umbrella, a national Workplace & Allied Health provider, is hiring a Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist) to join the Canberra team. You will manage a caseload across workers' compensation, DVA, life insurance and non-compensable referrals, delivering initial, workplace, ergonomic assessments and RTW plans.
Flexible hours with hybrid work from home, 3–4 day weeks possible for experienced consultants, relocation support up to 5,000 AUD and potential sign-on
Qualifications
- Must be AHPRA-registered and eligible to practise.
- Experience in Workplace Rehab or clinical settings is valuable.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a caseload of Same Employer clients across workers' compensation, DVA, CTP, life insurance and non-compensable referrals.
- Perform Initial, Workplace, Functional & Ergonomic Assessments.
- Attend case conferences and liaise with stakeholders to develop RTW plans.

- Work across Workers' Compensation, DVA, CTP, Life Insurance & non-compensable referrals
- Perform Initial, Workplace, Functional & Ergonomic Assessments
- Attend case conferences, liaise with stakeholders & develop RTW plans to achieve outcomes
- Build strong relationships & generate repeat referrals
- Work towards reasonable targets that are tailored to your experience level - no full caseloads for new Consultants!
- Client visits, allocated as close to your local area as possible
- Provide training & coaching to other team members (for experienced Consultants), in line with your skills & areas of interest
- AHPRA-Registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist
- 1 year+ Workplace Rehab or Clinical experience valuable - graduates warmly welcomed to apply
- A team player, you enjoy collaborating in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Motivated to help clients return to work, health & function
- Driver's licence
