Job summary

Altius Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, EP, or Physio) to support recovery and reintegration for people who have experienced injury, illness, or disability from our Miranda office.

You will develop personalised rehabilitation plans, perform Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace and Ergonomic assessments, and collaborate with clients, families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals to enable safe return to work.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physio or ESSA Registration as an EP
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Current drivers' licence and access to own transport
• Full Australian Working rights

Responsibilities

• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
• Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS)
• Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
• Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
• Work closely with clients, families, insurance companies, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
• Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal

YOUR NEW ROLE

Working from Miranda office as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals regain independence, improve the quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.
